Given what this town of Boulder has revealed to me, I am not in the end surprised to discover this library here dedicated to the Beat Generation. A delicious disorder reigns supreme in this place, where you obviously will find all of Kerouac's books and those of Ginsberg, Burroughs, Bukowski… but also the works of Rimbaud, Baudelaire, Appolinaire, Artaud, and still many others…
I meet Tom Peters, the owner and a literary activist who, besides running this "Beat Book Shop", organizes and sponsors open-mike readings in several cafés downtown.
