I missed my bus for San Francisco. It must be fate, and so you see, I've decided to prolong my stay in Colorado. There is a Jack Kerouac festival in Boulder in a few days, and a round-trip from California can be avoided... And so I leave with Chris to spend a weekend in the town of Fairplay, where there is a music festival: The "South Park Festival" that takes its name from South Park Vallet, which has also inspired the creators of the animated show The Simpsons. The creators of this show are buddies originally from the area.
As for Chris, he has set up a booth of his photos and manages his little enterprise quietly. He covers festivals on weekends, and I admire his set-up, his problem-solving, and his enthusiasm for selling his pictures. This gives me some ideas...
