Ward cars wreck

En route with Chris, we stop in the small village of Ward, a place lost in the mountains. It's more or less a former hippie village, where part of the inhabitants have chosen to live apart from the others, at least from the big cites, so that they can reconnect with Nature. It isn't rare in this valley to come across "Peace and Love" signs drawn regularly on the doors of houses. Some cafes names employ the words karma or Kathmandu.

Ward's major attraction is, strangely, all these wrecked cars -- over twenty of them -- abandoned for who knows why... Is this like a metaphor of what would become of the hippie years?
