Desert storm

Sand storms are unpredictable and in fact occur just about every day. We are treated to a puff of wind, and it suddenly reminds us of our surroundings and that this is no place for humans beings. The dust, which is so powdery, coats everything everywhere -- the air we breath, the water we drink, the food we eat... But in the end, after getting used to it, the dust gets to be something we no longer notice....

While we aren't currently being subject to those terrible times when the wind blows wildly raising the powdery sand, a couple walks in the storm, and I snap this picture of them. The lull only lasts another three seconds, and then I couldn't even see the hand at the end of my outstretched arm anymore. Just like the seas or the mountains, here we are, where Nature reclaims her rights over us whenever she pleases.
